The health intervention programs supported byAtlanta initiatives foundation are well-aligned with the objectives of Sustainable Development goals which aim to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all, including maternal and child health, access to clean water and sanitation and strengthening of health infrastructure as per the CSR Policy 2013
The health intervention programs supported by Atanta Initiatives Foundation focus on promoting health and well-being amongst people of all ages and genders through community-based interventions, promoting hygiene, safe drinking water and sanitation, preventing malnutrition, providing access to therapeutic interventions for children with disabilities and strengthening health infrastructure in primary & sub-health centres. These programs directly address the underlying causes of poverty, malnutrition and poor sanitation, which are major contributors to women, child and adolescent morbidity and mortality.
Moreover, Atlanta Initiative Foundation's health programs have also adapted to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and continued to provide quality healthcare services through infrastructure strengthening and creating linkages to ensure accessibility to healthcare systems.
Nutrition
We support the government in building capacity of the Frontline Workers to counsel communities about maternal and child nutrition, with a focus on promotion of early initiation of breast feeding and exclusive breast feeding for six months, complementary feeding with a focus on diet diversity, iron and folic acid supplementation for pregnant women. The project also supports the government in effective implementation of Poshan Abhiyaan components in UP.
We focus on reducing maternal and child morbidity and mortality by improving Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) in uttar pradesh.

Maternal, Newborn And Child Health
We support the government in its efforts to improve maternal, neonatal and child health services in Uttar Pradesh with focus on 28 high priority districts and aspirational districts.
The project supports the government to improve maternal, newborn and child health services by activating and strengthening critical services at facilities, including comprehensive emergency obstetric and newborn care at First Referral Units (FRUs).
